Jay leads Eric up to his room, closing the door quietly behind them. “Like I said, within reason so if anything I suggest or ask doesn’t do it for you, just say.”

He steps back, starting to strip off. “I want to ride you. Not top you,” he add hastily, “I know it’s not your thing so I won’t ask but be on top of you, fucking myself on you.”

"Angels of death." Jay watches Eric's face with a sad smile. "I'm sure many of them were very glad to see you."

"Maybe," Eric replies, seemingly lost in thought.
Or memories.

Jay doesn't bother him, letting Eric lose himself in whatever memories it is he's found. He knows Eric misses Godric but can't fathom how deeply.

Instead he sprawls out, enjoying the glow of Eric's blood and the last of the fuck high.

Eric seems content to stay on the bed, looking at the ceiling. Stroking his own belly with one hand in a slow rhythm.

His skin is a little warmer now, on account of him having fed so well (and so frequently), and he always enjoy that feeling.
That and being clean.

His muscles move beneath his skin, making light and shadow dance across his body.

Jay watches from beneath heavy lids, enjoying the view. Eric is stunning, not other word for it. "So," he asks quietly, not breaking the peace much. "Am I allowed to ask what you would have picked as a forfeit if you'd decided to win?"

Eric sighs.

"Well," he says, "I'm really not all that inventive. I could have taken you back home and fucked you in my dungeon below Fangtasia. It's been seeing more use lately. That sort of use anyway. Or we could have played cat and mouse outside."

He smiles. Like a very big, very hungry cat.

Then he shrugs.
"As I said, not terribly inventive."

Jay hums quietly, thoughtfully. "When I'm back up to capacity, a cat and mouse game could be fun. I could do with the training. Here or would you rather run a cityscape?" Jay limes the idea as a test of his training as much as having an enjoyable outcome.

"Either could be fun," Eric says. Thoughtfully.

"I'm leaving Africa soon. How do you feel about Madrid?" Jay asks, thoughtfully.

[onceaviking]

"Spain is good," Eric says. "And Italy."

Not France. He's hasn't been back since - the last time he was there.

"London wouldn't be bad either. Although their use of CCTVs might prove a challenge."

"Never been a fan of Rome, don't like the architecture. I don't mind Milan."

He barks a laugh and nods towards his laptop. "London's easy if you know the right people. Mind you, the Shard is a bitch to climb but the view's pretty awesome."

It is useful knowing people who speak tech.

Eric gives him a small smile. "Milan's not bad."

"Let's do Milan then." Jay grins. "Italy doesn't have much in the way of capes so there shouldn't be anyone to get stroppy if we have a bit of fun."

[onceaviking]

"Capes?"

Eric has got very expressive eyebrows.

[runningred]

"Vigilantes. Superheroes. My ex-crowd." Jay admits. "They tend to get territorial if I'm in their city."

[onceaviking]

"Ah," Eric says.
"Not unlike us, then. "

[runningred]

"Some are, some aren't. Some are hardcore defenders of truth, justice and all that horse shit while others just wanna make their place safer and will do whatever it takes." Jay muses absently.

"My former mentor has been recruiting other capes for his global network," the words drip with bitter sarcasm, "but there are still plenty doing things their own way who don't mind trading tech for info and the such." He scratches a scar on his side, thinking of the ally who he got it fighting with.

"These days any vampire entering Area Five has to report to me within 24 hours. Failure to do so is a punishable offence. Repeated failure to do so is a grave punishable offence."

He stretches.

"In the old days, you were expecting to declare your presence and ask for hunting privileges, but we hardly ever did."
Godric and him.

Jay chuckles. "I'm sure that make you real popular." He jokes.

"Its not law with capes, just courtesy. Seeing I don't play by those rules anymore it's reserved for people I still like. Or might be useful to me as contacts."

[onceaviking]

"Not exactly, no, but we didn't have to care."

Eric puts his hands behind his head. Sprawling.

[runningred]

"That's the way to live - free of other people's bullshit and politics."

He sprawls as well, not quite touching Eric but enjoying his nearness. "So how did they drag you into becoming a sheriff?"

It takes a while before he answers and when he does, he is sounding almost too casual.

"It was an offer I couldn't refuse. I had had a little run in with our governing body and this was part of the - arrangement."

"Ah. That bad?" Jay knows the tone, he's used him himself too often.

[onceaviking]

Eric manages a shrug without moving his hands.
"They believed I'd been too careless in my dealings with one of the local girls."

Off-handedly. As it it hadn't really mattered.

Jay lets the subject drop. In so much as anyone can read Eric, Jay gets the feeling there's a lot more to that slightly flippant statement.

"But I'm guessing no-one tries that sort of thing on your path; drifting through without checking in?"
