Jay leads Eric up to his room, closing the door quietly behind them. “Like I said, within reason so if anything I suggest or ask doesn’t do it for you, just say.”

He steps back, starting to strip off. “I want to ride you. Not top you,” he add hastily, “I know it’s not your thing so I won’t ask but be on top of you, fucking myself on you.”

"That you do!" Jay flashes him a grin and pulls himself up onto his hands and knees before dropping into a controlled tumble to land on his feet on the soft carpet. "Time for a shower, I think." There's a note of invitation there, but not of pressure.

Eric gets up as well, vampire fast, and trails after Jay into the bathroom.

Jay shakes his head, throwing a look over his shoulder as he pads across the tiles. "For all your strength and power, your speed worries me the most." Not that Jay seems at all worried or afraid at the moment, trusting Eric with his back as he steps under the spray. "I can't think of any way to counter attack against it."

"There isn't," Eric replies. "Humans can't compete with it. And I am fast enough to out run a lot of vampires as well."

Not boasting. Just stating a fact.

"How long can you sustain it?" Jay asks curiously and openly. Not so much sizing up an opponent as trying to understand the mechanics of Eric's abilities.

[onceaviking]

Eric shrugs.
"No idea," he replies. "I haven't tried getting tired from it. Then again, I do have - stamina."

Stamina is clearly a dirty word in this context.

Jay chuckles warmly and washes himself, unselfconsciously. "So I've seen. So must your new dancer to be keeping up with you. But it doesn't bode well for me in a game of rooftop tag."

{ooc: just watched this week's episode. The Ginger thing made me giggle like a loon.}

"I might give you a head start," Eric purrs.


{ooc: I know! His face! Seriously. And I wanted that to happen, mainly because I like to think that he, if he is not actively lying, would feel uncomfortable not keeping a promise}

Jay laughs. "You're going to have to 'cause it won't be much of a game otherwise. And these things are no fun if there's no challenge."

{ooc: exactly! I loved his furious apology to her.}

"That is true,"Eric agrees. "It wouldn't be fun without a chase."

[runningred]

"Clearly I need to start training in a big way." Jay grins, already planning tactics in his head.

[onceaviking]

"You should," Eric agrees, tipping his face up and into the spray.

Jay laughs and goes back to washing himself. And watching Eric. The blood isn't having quite the same effect tonight.

He's still pleasantly and almost fully topped up healing-wise but he's not got quite the same urgent need to goad Eric into fucking him again.

Either he was really low and the blood has mostly spent itself healing him or the force of his orgasm really hit the spot. Or a bit of both.

Eric doesn't seem to notice that he is being watched.
Or he pretends not to at any rate.

He is washing his hair and his body carefully, using more soap than strictly needed, only because he likes the silky soft feel of it gliding over his skin.
And the scent.

He even starts humming a little.

Jay picks up the tune, or something close enough to sound harmonious. He sings wordlessly, just enjoying the tune as he washes himself. He's still watching Eric a little out the corner of his eye, pleasantly aware of his very attractive company.

Finally Eric rinses the last of the soap off and grabs a towel.

He is very thorough as he dries off. He has never been exaggerating when he has been enthusiastic about showers and bathing. He really does enjoy it. To the point where he isn't even showing off.

Not that it matters much.



Pam would kill him, if she witnessed this.

Without a doubt, one of the best views in Milliways. Jay follows unashamedly, squeezing the water out of his hair before walking over to run a hand down Eric's side. "Fuck, you're stunning!"

Eric gives him a slightly raised eyebrow. And a tiny hint if a smile.

"And you're strange. But I strive not to hold it against you."

[runningred]

"Yeah but I won't be half as much fun if I was normal." Jay laughs warmly and tosses his towel in the corner. He can clean up after himself later before wandering back over to flop on the bed.

He's happy for Eric to stay, or go. Whatever works for him. He's in a wonderfully mellow mood.

"Are you sure you are okay?" Eric asks.
"You seem - off."

Mellow Jay definitely feels odd.

Jay smiles indulgently, sprawling out on the bed like a heavily scarred porn star. "I'm fine, Eric. I promise. I'm..." He searches for the right word unhurried, "sated."

For once he doesn't feel the need to beg for more - blood, attention or sex. Not that he won't accept more if it was offered but he's happily satisfied as he is. A very rare thing for him indeed but one to be enjoyed.

"Ah," Eric says.
"Yes. I - remember what that felt like."

He picks up his clothes and starts dressing.

[runningred]

"I'd offer to return the favour but I doubt I'd survive the attempt." Jay shrugs offhandedly, not making any effort to move off the very comfy bed.

[onceaviking]

"You wouldn't," Eric replies as he ties the drawstring on his track suit trousers.

"And even if you didn't, it still wouldn't be enough."

It never really is.

"You should have come with me to Africa. Although their blood wasn't exactly healthy, there was plenty of it." Despite his flippant tone, there's something bitter there; the memory of blood-sodden carpets, tracked on his boot soles across marble floors.
