movie night with Sherral

Jay's room has gotten bigger to include a large tv, a surround sound system and a very comfy looking couch with big cushions; the sort you can happily fit a few people or fall asleep on.

"Make yourself comfortable." Jay lays out the basket of steak pies, steamed veg with cheese and chunky roast root vegetables with bacon. All food that can be easily eaten with one hand. He puts A New Hope on and joins Sherral on the couch.

Sherral isn't entirely sure how making oneself comfortable generally goes, so when he sits on the sofa, his back is still stand-to-attention straight.

He does jump just a little at the start of the opening crawl, when the music blares, but he'll deny it if asked.

Jay shakes his head and sits behind Sherral, nesting himself in the corner with cushions. He reaches for Sherral. "You're not on parade, captain. At ease." He pulls Sherral gently back so the captain's back leans against chest and shoulder.

Jay reaches around him to turn the volume down a touch and kisses Sherral's neck, not commenting behind that.

Sherral does relax against Jay, if reluctantly, settling back against the other man. He makes a small, happy noise at Jay's kiss and reaches around a little with his good hand, sifting his fingers through Jay's hair.

He squints at the stormtroopers and Darth Vader, a smile tugging at his lips. "This seems eerily familiar, somehow."

"Hmm? That's worrying." He eases his fingers gently over Sherral's good arm, wrapping his arms around him to massage his hand. He uses the pressure points in Sherral's palm to help relax and ease his pain a little. He adds a little kiss to his neck now and then, keeping him closer.

Sherral makes a soft noise, tilting his head back a little.

"Nothing worrying. Just - armoured imperial soldiers being led by a man with a swishy cape," Sherral says. Beat. "Our armour doesn't look like it's made of plastic, admittedly."

"Ah, good point. And you guys can see to shoot straight." Jay tries to stop himself from mouthing the words as they go along.

He's glad to have Sherral relaxing a little, encouraging him to eat something, still touching and massaging him where you can safely. "Tell me if I'm hurting you? Not sure how badly hurt you are."

"I'm - recovering. Let's put it that way," Sherral says, and reaches for a steak pie. It takes him a moment to actually start eating it.

He pauses. "I'll tell you, though. If you're hurting me too much."

Jay kisses the side of his neck again, pressing his nose softly against Sherral's ear. "Tell me if I'm hurting you at all? Please?"

"If you insist," Sherral says, and angles his head to catch Jay's lips with a kiss.

Jay kisses back, very sweetly and softly, rubbing Sherral's good arm. He smiles, an arm around Sherral's waist. "You're gunna miss the movie if you keep letting me distract you."

"I will," Sherral agrees, and kisses Jay again, longer and deeper.

Jay mutters something that might have been cinematic classics but it gets lost in his attempt to move them both into a more comfortable position for kissing. More kisses.

Sherral, not without some awkwardness, shifts about so that he's straddling Jay's lap, good hand settling on Jay's shoulder to keep himself stable.

(He's still not that stable, because having an arm in a sling is throwing his balance off something terrible.)

"I've got one eye on it, I promise" he assures Jay fondly in between kisses.

Jay lifts and steadies him, offering Sherral supports as he shifts. The kisses make him moan softly, especially as Sherral settles in his lap. He strokes a gentle hand down Sherral's back, moving to kiss the curve of his neck. "How about we put it on later?"

"That's a good idea," Sherral says agreeably.

He shrugs off the blanket draped around his shoulders, tilting his head to give Jay better access to his neck as a moan escapes him.

Jay flails a little to find the remote, turning the movie off before tossed the remote away. He kisses his way down to the hollow of Sherral's neck and up to suck softly on the lobe of his ear.

Gods, Sherral gets him hot, but more than that, he feels... He sighs, holding Sherral close as he cups his cheek, bring Sherral into a deep kiss.

Sherral moans, kissing back, his hand sliding to the collar of Jay's shirt and tugging. With one hand and poor balance, he can't really pull it off, so he's left with just indicating that he'd like it elsewhere.

Jay keeps his steady and laughs. "I think you better leave this to me." He leans back just far enough to ditch his shirt, before gently reaches for Sherral's do you want this off too?"

"Aye," Sherral says, glancing down. He makes a small noise in the back of his throat. "This is frustrating. I can't even lift my arm."

"Shh." Jay kisses Sherral softly. "Let me."

He helps Sherral out of his shirt, pooling it around his slinged elbow. With the care and gentleness of someone who knows how much a broken arm can hurt, his slides a hand in under Sherral's arm, supporting it on his own long enough to lift the sling aside and slide the sleeve of Sherral's shirt onto his own arm. Another careful slide and Sherral's shirtless and back in the sling.

Sherral watches, a little apprehensively, holding onto Jay with his free hand to keep himself steady.

"You're good at this," he remarks softly, when Jay's done.

"My mentor once broke his arm in three places. I got a lot of practise helping him undress." He realises what he's said. "Not like this, of course."

Sherral laughs, pressing a kiss to the corner of Jay's mouth. "I'll be better soon, at least."

Jay smiles and returns the kiss. One hand safely anchored around Sherral's waist, his fingers move gently over Sherral's skin, mapping the shape and extent of his injuries, memorizing where and where not to touch and seeking the places he knows make Sherral moan.

From the looks of it, he has three deep (if healing rapidly) sword wounds across his torso, the last of them edging up his neck a little, along with a mottling of fading bruises. At the very least, the Archadian Army's healers are effective.

A few times Sherral hisses a little, just quietly, at Jay's fingers, but it passes quickly, and Sherral's eager to kiss back, moaning into the kiss softly.
