Jay steps out onto the veranda, letting to cool night air embrace him. "So," He asks, not looking back over his shoulder to see if Eric's following. "What are you in the mood for?"
Jay nods and leans into the touch a little, wandering down to the trees. There are a few spots between the trees that he's fond of. The clearing where he trains mostly - it's quiet, secure and protected from most sightlines.
Jay leans back against a tree, looking up at Eric. His eyes stormy blue but clear, unflinching. There's desire there and not enough fear but there's no delusion. Jay knows what he's offering and what he's risking by doing so but it's a calculated risk.
Eric slowly walks him back a few steps, till Jay is flush against a tree. And then he presses close, bending his head to bite him just where his neck meets his shoulder. Tangling his fingers in Jay's hair.
Jay sighs, letting the feeling of being bitten fill him. The blood spilling into Eric's mouth, his heart beating fast, pushing it to him faster. He tilts his head back, moaning as Eric pulls his hair.
Gods, he loves this. Loves being handled, overpowered, desired.
Jay returns the little sounds with a groan, pressing himself against Eric's body. He's hard as hell but he's not begging, not fighting; he's just enjoying the feeling of this.
Eric slides his hands down Jay's sides - and then they are suddenly on the ground, Jay on his back, Eric on top of him. Heavy. Face wet with blood. Growling.
Jay's cry is soft and broken as he arches up against Eric's muscular thigh. He can almost feel his skin flex and break at the point of Eric's fangs. "Ple-" He catches himself on the point of begging, his breathing short and his heart panting.
And doesn't that just go straight to the broken bits of Jay's brain. He damn near comes just at the sound of Eric's growl, let alone the feeling of Eric taking him. He whimpers, moans, begs again. All he can do is beg.
And if he is begging to be fucked and bitten, he is getting what he wants.
Eric is aggressive. And yet the fingers splayed at the side of Jay's face stay gentle. It's a struggle, but he needs to remind himself. That this is Jay.
It is Jay. Which also means he can take a bit of rough handling. And love every second of it. He moans and bucks under Eric, as much as he can given how solidly Eric has him pinned.
"Eric." Jay calls softly. He doesn't need to be loud, he knows Eric can hear him. He's on his knees, his back against the tree. His posture and swollen lips are an offer.
Jay nods and sits back down on the grass. "What do you need?" He knows Eric's still a mess and the blood has him healing and ready to go again. "Need me to run? I could do with the work out."
"I had a little sister," Eric says, his back still turned. "Her name was Þorgerðr. When the wolves came, they likely killed her first. And it was my fault."
He turns and looks at Jay.
"Don't say anything about this. Ever. To anyone."
Protected by Thor. Never put your trust in gods. All they'll do is abandon you after pissing in your face.
He hasn't really said this out loud before. To Aethalstan, he'd insisted that he would walk away victorious.
But now, with his face turned away, he says, "He's a 3,000 year old vampire. I may not be around to celebrate anything once he is gone." And then he gets up, abruptly, and starts walking away. Into the darkness.
Jay stops and drops his eyes, counting back from ten to clear his head. "Eric, I've built faith around the idea that vengeance will bring to peace. I don't know if it will be true for me but I hope it's true for you. I really do."
Jay lets himself fall against a tree and sigh. "Fuck, I wish I didn't like him so much." He mutters to himself, banging his head against the wood over and over. "What the fuck is wrong with me?"
He pulls himself together (and hitches his busted jeans again) and heads back to the bar.
