Jay's room is something of a mess. There are designs and schematics all over the place. The table is covered with electronic components and prototypes. He's been tinkering a lot lately.

Jay laughs and sheds his jacket, kicking off his boots. "Sorry for the mess. I've been kinda busy lately."

And then Eric is upon him, silencing him with his mouth.

It's not a gentle kiss.

With his large hands, he tilts Jay's hips and presses against him. Relentlessly.

Jay groans into the kiss, feeling his lip split again as Eric kissed him bruisingly hard. Well that's interesting. Last time Eric couldn't get enough of Jay praising him.

He shuts up and wraps his leg around Eric's waist, throwing his head back and offering himself up.

Praise makes him uncomfortable. It makes him feel. And he doesn't like feeling things.

It makes him miss Godric whom he hasn't seen in ages.

So he penetrates Jay, running his mouth down his jawline and back to his neck as he does so. Hard. Growling like an animal. Because animals don't feel.

The animal growl sends a shiver down Jay's spine and not in a good way. For the first time... ever with them, the monkey part of Jay's brain starts to fear the predator above him.

However, given that the rest of Jay's brain is busy being blown by just how solidly Eric is fucking him into the bed and the marble lips against his throat, the panic gets shouted down. For now.

There is always a point, or points, where Eric wants to just tear whomever lies beneath him apart, so Monkey Brain is onto something.

But he is good at fighting the urge. Not the growls, though. The hungry growls. Underscoring the rapid movements of his hips.

He licks Jay's neck and then he kisses him again. Because his lips are bleeding.

Jay's been suppressing his monkey brain for a long time. Who would fly across the rooftops of Gotham on nothing but a thread if they hadn't learnt to ignore survival instincts.

Jay's every breath comes as a moan, forced out of him by Eric's thrusts. The kisses only make him more breathless, making his split lip bleed faster.

And Eric keeps kissing and biting and licking them as long as the blood trickles, increasing his pace a little.

He likes the sensation when the mattress moves with his thrusts. When whomever is beneath him sounds like that. When he can make Jay beg.

Begging isn't really a choice right now. Pleasure centres win over monkey brain every time and every breath either comes out as Eric or please. He teeters on the edge, so close to his fall as he bites his lip hard to keep it bleeding.

And as long there is blood, Eric's mouth stays there, hard and demanding.

He tilts Jay's hips a little more, shifting the angle.

That shift is just enough, is just perfect; owning and overwhelming Jay's senses. He throws his head back, tearing his lip from Eric's mouth in a howl of pleasure he barely hears over the race of his own heart.

With such an alluring neck, Eric cannot be faulted for biting him again.
Drinking deeply, as he enjoys the way Jay sounds. The way he moves. The way he perhaps eventually stops moving.

Jay's chest heaves, fighting to catch his breath as Eric's bite draws out another soft moan. He manages to raise a hand to stroke Eric's smooth back, loving the hint of warmth in his skin at last but little by little, his touch falters, his breathing growing shallow as the blood pumps a little slower.

Eric wants to keep drinking. But he stops. Lapping Jay's skin gently after biting his own tongue. Letting the wounds close.

He pulls out, relatively gentle, and reaches down to cup Jay's cheek.
"Jay?"

"Eric." Jay's voice is breathlessly soft but the corner of his broken lip curls in a half smile, his eyes heavy. His very pale this time, coming down hard from the high of sex.

Eric bites his own tongue again and licks Jay's broken lip. He's a little less cautios about the amount of his blood ending up in Jay's mouth this time. When he's here, it seems as if the blood bond doesn't take. At least, that's how it's worked so far.

And he does seem a little - broken.

Jay leans in as best he can to turn it into a proper kiss, as much as Eric will permit anyway. He hums warmly and waits for Eric's blood to warm him with that mellow liquor glow.

"I think you drank a little deep." He whispers, letting his head fall back. Although the fact he's barely eaten and hasn't slept more than a few hours in the last week might have had more to do with it. He gets a little distracted when he had a project.

And Eric lets him, to a point. Even briefly kissing actively back before getting up.

"I think you don't eat enough,"he says, running a hand down his abdomen.

"That's pretty stupid, Jay."

[runningred]

Jay smiles fondly up at him. "Never claimed to be smart. Or I won't keep fooling around with you."

[onceaviking]

"You got a point there," Eric concedes, stretching a little.
"Feeling better now?"

[runningred]

"Your blood is a beautiful thing." Jay purrs, stroking Eric's hip. "Sounded like you got really into tonight? That growl of yours..." He whistles softly.

[onceaviking]

Eric climbs back on top of him and growls again.
A low, menacing sound.

Deep and wild and primal.

[runningred]

Yeah, yeah there is that monkey brain thing again. Jay looks up at him with a flash of worry. Not fear. Not yet but an awareness of the danger he might be in.

But he swallows it down, biting back his primal fears and leaning up offer his throat.

[onceaviking]

Eric dips his head - and kisses Jay's throat. "No," he murmurs. "Not any more."

Nuzzling his way down the side of Jay's neck. Gently.
It often works well when blood has been shared. Being a little more gentle.

At least, it'll keep Jay guessing.

[runningred]

"Oh fuck." Jay shivers, bring a hand up to stroke Eric's back. It's so easy to imagine this sweet affection isn't just part of Eric's game. He would be fooling himself but then he's been doing that for a while now. "Damn, you're bad for me."

"I am," Eric says, sounding pleased with himself.

"You like that."

He stretches out next to Jay. Looking at him.
