Riding with Alfred
Oct. 18th, 2014 03:37 pm{from here}
Jay glances across to the monitor on the bench. "We have the garage to ourselves."
He turns back to Alfred. "So how... hot did riding get you?"

Date: 2014-10-26 04:42 am (UTC)He unlocks his cupboards and finds Alfred a more comfortable outfit to go shopping in. He pulls a spare identity from the case and hands the wallet to Alfred, fat with crisp euros. "See what you can find us. I'll get everything else ready."

Date: 2014-10-26 04:57 am (UTC)He smiles to himself as the key disappear into his pocket. Then he heads towards the costume store, he loves proper disguises.

Date: 2014-10-26 05:08 am (UTC)The bags are hung up on whatever he can find and opened to show two elegant tuxedos, that aren't too much, with a tray, they could be for a waiter. Alongside them, two masks, one that's blood red and the other with the shadow of a castle on it and two cloaks, one with a white and the other a red lining. "I think they'll do."

Date: 2014-10-26 05:24 am (UTC)Jay strips off and heads for the bathroom, scrubbing down and getting clean to remove as much of his natural scent as possible, welcoming Alfred to do the same. "There are set of really good colognes in the cabinet. Pick two, a stronger and milder one. There are pads for under the strap of your watch that means you can change them out."
He dries his hair as he pads over to the wardrobe, pulling out several drawers of watches and cufflinks. Most of them very expensive. Jay knows how to dress.

Date: 2014-10-26 05:29 am (UTC)"Keep the cufflinks and watches simple, elegant, well chosen but not ostentatious. We're young men with money, taste and pedigree."
He picks a silver set of cufflinks and a watch, the cufflinks have a bezel to them that almost looks like a moon. Then finds an enameled set that are incredibly simple and in that show their worth.

Date: 2014-10-26 05:41 am (UTC)He brushes his hair back, braiding the white streak under to hide it and create a widow's peak.
The tuxedo fits him like a glove, tight in all the right places to show off his broad shoulders and narrow waist. "Think this will work?"
no subject
Date: 2014-10-26 05:44 am (UTC)"Yes, I think it does. You're the one pressing against your leash and I'm your pleasant leash."
The tuxedo suits Moist, highlighting the long lines of his body and the white makes him look paler.

Date: 2014-10-26 05:54 am (UTC)"Exactly, so I tut at you, staying close to your side gaining you sympathy and perhaps even some for myself,"
His accent shifts into something with a touch of Uberwald, not from around here, a little prim.

Date: 2014-10-26 06:07 am (UTC)Jay grins, pulling gently at Alfred's tie and lowering his voice. His accent America but with the cultured English purr of an Oxford student.
"Darling Jude." His eyes flick to the IDs on the table that list Alfred's name as Julian Octave. "If you going to keep tutting me, I'm going to have to find ways to get you into trouble too." Jay's ID reads Patrick Everguard.
{ooc: so much fun! Sleep well!}

Date: 2014-10-26 09:27 pm (UTC)A town car is waiting for them outside, the driver holding the door open for them. Jay smiles and makes a point of being seen to slide his hand under Alfred's cape as they get in.

Date: 2014-10-26 11:29 pm (UTC)He nods and says loud enough for the driver,
"Yes, I know that you have been behaving but this party is important."
no subject
Date: 2014-10-26 11:54 pm (UTC)The party sprawls across the embassy grounds, bright and resplendent with candles hung from the trees. Jay shots Alfred a quick smile as they head for the door, sweeping imperiously in their long opera capes.
Their invites are accepted without question and they are let into the main hall. The very cream of European society is there, jewels glittering and smiles flashing.

Date: 2014-10-27 12:19 am (UTC)Anyone who hears him will think he's something Eastern European but working on his accent as his English is carefully watched. That turns a different group of heads their way.

Date: 2014-10-27 01:08 am (UTC)"Lady Margaret." He brings his heels together with a click, dropping into a deep bow. "What a pleasure it is to see you again."
She looks at him confused and Patrick offers her an apologetic smile. "Patrick Everguard. We met at my mother's garden party last April. She sends her regards."
The lady's face lights up with the forced smile of someone who doesn't entirely trust their own memory for these things. "Patrick dear, what a delight. How is your dear mother? And who is this charming young gentleman?" She gestures to Alfred.

Date: 2014-10-27 01:29 am (UTC)She flutters at his manner, "Oh my yes, the Octaves, do come and meet my dear Anna, she'll love your costumes. She does love a good vampire."

Date: 2014-10-27 01:51 am (UTC)He lets his grin became something more predator as they are lead over to meet Anna, trying to find that thing that Eric does so easily. "Lovely Lady. I hear you yearn to dance with the creatures of the night." Slightly cheesy Dracula accent... Maybe...
