Jay sits down on the bench outside the door and makes himself comfortable, holding his wrist out to Eric. "Take as much as you can without dropping me."

Except it isn't the same, not to Eric anyway.

He turns Jay's wrist over and bites down, closing his eyes as the blood begins to flow.

His whole body is taut with tension. It's visible in the way he holds his shoulders and plain to see on his face.
Even as he feeds.

Part of Jay wants to stroke Eric's hair, and tell him it's going to be okay. But he doubts Eric would want that. Instead he rests a hand on Eric's shoulder as if to steady them both.

Eric's lips are moving against Jay's skin.
Almost gently.

He swallows again and then he moves his mouth away. Biting down on his own tongue.

"You sure?" Jay asks softly, feeling like Eric could drink deeper if he needed to. Jay can take it.

Eric hesitates and then he bows his head and continues feeding.
He has changed his hold so his fingers can massage Jay's hand. Increasing the blood flow.

Caressing him.

Jay bends and flexes his fingers as Eric massages his hand, brushing his fingertips lightly against Eric's in a semi-caress. To increase blood flow, of course.

His other hand still rests on Eric's shoulder, his thumb brushing the fabric of his shirt. He trusts Eric, letting him drink as deep as he needs to.

He moans.

It's a soft, little moan.

Jay leans in a bit, resting his head on Eric's shoulder and letting his arm drift down to his waist. It's the fact his starting to get a tiny bit light-headed. It's not a hug at all. Just in case Eric asks.

He continues feeding a little while longer.
Drinking deep.

And then he bites his tongue and laps at the puncture wounds. Closing them.
Moving his shoulder a little. Not to dislodge Jay exactly. Rather to see if he is still with him.

"I'm fine." Jay reassures softly, his voice steadier than even he expected.

He tangles his fingers in Eric's for a moment and squeezes. "Go. Go find Pam and get her home safe."

Eric gets up from the bench and gives Jay a small nod.
Then he picks the bag up again and heads back inside.

Not saying anything.

He can't talk about this. About any of this.

And Jay doesn't expect him to. Not yet anyway. When Pam is safe (which he has every faith she will be) Jay might try talking to Eric. Or at least finding a way to help him blow off steam but for now, he just watches Eric go with an answering nod.

And then slides down to lay on the bench. In a couple of minutes he'll get up, maybe even see if he can borrow a drip from the infirmary without anyone noticing causing a fuss and put himself to bed.
