Night games with Eric

Jay brings the bike up in the lift, closing his helmet. Eric has the advantage in many ways but Jay has toys, lots of toys. Starting with the bike. It is very, very fast.

Jay takes the complement with a little bow. "Wait till we're playing this game in a city. Then I'll really make you hunt for me." He grin cockily as he reaches for his clothes.

"I've adapted to city life," Eric replies, running his hands through his hair before zipping his jeans.
"I might surprise you."

[runningred]

"Yeah but people make such a wonderful distraction." Jay grins, dropping his visor so he can see again. "But I can already see I need to make some improvements to my tactics. And my gear."

[onceaviking]

"And you even have an advantage," Eric says, as he begins to walk back toward the house at a normal pace.
"Had you been of my world, I would ways know whee you were. What you were feeling."

His voice turns low and suggestive.

Jay grins, walking a little gingerly but not unhappily. "If I was from your world, I'd be dreaming about you more constantly than I already do." He shrugs. "Or you would have gotten bored and eaten me by now."

"Or glamour end you and made you forget."
That's more likely. It's easier than having to deal with corpses.

"I've always wanted to try that." He considers. "With the telepathic training I've had, I'd be interested to know if you could."

[onceaviking]

"I could." He sounds very certain.
"But it's not a completely safe procedure so I wouldn't recommend it."

[runningred]

"You probably could." Jay concedes. "Against all self preservation, I trust you. But Pam, or another vamp; I'm not so sure. As part of my training, there's a telepathic booby trap in my skull, put there by the most powerful telepath I've ever known. I've never tested it but I'm told anyone who tries to force past my shields will cope the motherload of feedback."

"I wonder if it even is telepathy," Eric muses, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
"I've always thought of it as word and will. "

[runningred]

"The subjugation of someone's will through hypnotism? I reckon it's the same pathways in the brain."

[onceaviking]

"Perhaps," Eric replies.
He looks as if he is about to continue - and then his fangs slam down, as his face contorts with rage.. And then he is gone.

Jay blinks as Eric vanishes. There's one one reason he would do that - Pam. In which can Jay's not use to them. He scouts around in the trees for the bike and starts limping it back to the bar.
