Once the wounds are closed, Eric glides up to lie next to Jay.

Now is a good time to show some gentleness. Stroking his hair once.

Jay makes a sound that's almost a purr and licks his lips, needing two attempts to form words. "That was... wild."

"So now we know where you really like to be bitten," Eric says softly.

"And all without you fucking me." Even if he is still half hard. He chuckles and plays with Eric's hair. "Even if I won't say no."

Eric smiles and rests a hand on his belly.
"We had better let you rest," he says.
That suits him perfectly and it may even read as caring.

"Spoil sport." Jay chuckles, resting a hand on top of Eric's for a moment before letting go. He know Eric isn't the cuddly sort. "I guess you'll have to owe me one."

"It is for the best," Eric says, before adding in a low, intimate tone, "I feel invigorated. We'd risk I damaged something."

"You already know I like it rough." He sighs, his cock twitching at Eric's tone. "But if I can't convince you, I'll just have to enjoy the thought on my own. Besides, I couldn't make you stay if I tried."

Eric chuckles. "That is true. And I am not exaggerating. The speed at which I run? I can be that fast whatever I do."

"Remind me to stock up on lube." He chuckles almost to himself. "I'm sure he have the self control to go slow too."

He sighs and pulls a blanket over himself. "Go. It's okay. I'll be fine." He's sobering up and suddenly his situation doesn't seem quite as much fun. He's Eric's whore and he knows it.

Eric looks down at himself. "Can I wash up here first? I was - not as careful as I ought to have been."

He can tell his grip is slipping a little here. Hmm.
What to do?

"Go for it." He sighs, "Can't have you strolling through the bar looking like you'd murdered me. People might talk."

He lays there, ignoring the blood on his own skin. He could wash up later. He's too tired to care much.

And so there's the sound of running water and Eric - singing? It's something half remembered from when he was alive, a song about sailing.

He return moments later with a cool, damp cloth and settles next to Jay on the bed. Naked. With damp hair.

Jay is half asleep by the time Eric comes out but he opens his eyes when the bed dips next to him. He doesn't bother to speak but he does look Eric's naked body over, enjoying the view. After all, he usually doesn't get much of a chance to look at him.

Eric washes him, carefully. His neck first, then his inner thigh.

"No one would believe this,"he says, almost as if to himself. "No one who knows me." He looks up at Jay.
"Maybe I am getting old. I have always been ruthless. Cruel."

He runs his hand over Jay's damp skin as if to dry it.
"This place," he says. "I swore I would never be a maker. Now I am. I have had no use for humans as anything but food, but now -"
He trails off.

"Don't." Jay shakes his head, keeping himself still as Eric cleans him. "Don't lie for me. I was a whore before I was 13. I know when I'm being used."

He reaches up to cup Eric's cheek. "You don't have to love me. Just don't lie to me."

Eric looks at him, just looks for what seems like a long time.
Then he throws back his head and laughs.

It's a quite unguarded laugh. Honest. Full of good humour.

"That will never happen. I can promise you that."

He reaches down and pets Jay, almost fondly.
"But I like you. And I hardly ever want to kill you. That is deeply unsettling. "

Then he laughs again.

It animates his face. Makes him look alive.

The laugh soften Jay's hurt and he smiles, genuinely this time. "And you make me hard just looking at you. And knowing you could kill me in a heartbeat doesn't scare me half as much as it should. If anything it turns me on." He sits up carefully and smiles. "I guess that's my way of saying I like you too."

"And now that we've established that, I shall leave you to your rest. Be a little careful with your leg. The skin is quite delicate there."

Eric gets up and starts putting on his clothes.

"I'll take it slow." Jay assures, not chasing him up. "Stay out of trouble, hey?"

"You know me, Jay," Eric says. "I am trouble."
And with that he takes off.

"Ain't that the truth." Jay mutters to himself, playing with the freshly healed skin. He really should give this up. It's bad for him but he knows he won't.
