Jay leads Eric up to his room. "Come inside, please?" He offers, opening the door to Eric.

He sheds his jacket and kicks off his boots. "Why don't you tell me what you want right now? No need to be embarrassed or worried."

Jay smiles and brushes his fingers through Eric's hair again. "Lay down. I can't promise I can stay all day but I'll stay with you till you fall asleep."

What is that?

Is it a pout?

It is.
It is a pout.

Oh the pout! The cutest thing ever. He smiles and runs his thumb over the pout. "I'll be back before you wake. I don't quite keep vampire hours the way Emcee does."

Eric sighs and then he snuggles down under the bedding.
Happily.

Jay snuggles in next to him, running his fingers through Eric's hair.

Eric relaxes against Jay.
Grudgingly.
One arm draped across his chest.

Jay stays with him, stroking Eric's hair till he feels Eric go still. He waits awhile before getting up and taking a shower. He's kind of a mess.

But true to his word, he's back before the sun sets, with a tray of True Blood for him.

Eric doesn't appear to have moved at all while he was gone.
And he doesn't stir till the sun has fully set.

Slowly opening his eyes

Jay's sitting on the other end of the bed, giving Eric room to wake up.

He yawns and runs his eyes before sitting up and stretching.
Then he smiles at Jay. Sleepily.

"You look like a sleepy mountain lion." Jay chuckles, passing him a warmed bottle seasoned with his own blood. "I come bearing breakfast."

Eric takes the offered bottle and drinks, hungrily. Eyes closed.

Still not fully awake it seems.

Jay gives him time to wake up on his own. Jay smells of engine grease, clean sweat and leather. "How are you feeling?"

Eric yawns again.

"Sleepy," he says.
"And crusty."

[runningred]

"Shower?" He suggests. "I'll even wash your back."

[onceaviking]

He nods.
Smiling.

"That'd be nice," he says, getting out of the bed.

Jay strips off and heads for the bathroom, running the shower as hot as he can stand. For Eric's sake.

Eric trails along, scratching his belly, looking sleepy and rumpled and warm.
It's an illusion, bit it's a good one.

Jay watches him with a fond smile. "You're really not an early evening guy, are you?"

Eric gives him a sleepy smile.
"Not really I guess," he says and steps under the spray, wetting his hair first.

Jay comes up behind him, ocean-scented shower gel in his hand as he starts washing Eric's back. His touch is slow and sensual.

Eric squirms a little.

He is ticklish.

[runningred]

Jay's very tempted to make the most of that. But it would be mean. Instead he firms his touch to an almost massage. As much as you can massage a living marble statue.

And Eric sighs, leaning into the touch.

His eyes are closed and he looks peaceful standing there, as the water washes off the dried blood.

"You okay?" Jay asks softly, moving up to massage shampoo into Eric's scalp.
