Jay's room is as boring as it could be, nothing more than a hotel room but then, he's only been there a week. He closes the door behind Eric and looks him over again. He really should be wondering what he's got himself in for but those self-preservation circuits cut out long ago. He pulls Eric into a kiss, shamelessly running his hands over the marble cold curves of his back.

For a moment it seems as if Eric doesn't hear him - and then he reluctantly pulls his mouth away from Jay's throat.

Before retracting his fangs, he bites his own tongue, so when he laps at Jay's neck, the wounds close.

And then he kisses him on the lips. Softly. Humans are impressionable when weak from blood loss. And he has gotten better at exploiting that. Making them want to come back for more.

It's worth a try, at least.

Jay returns the kiss languidly, wrapping his arms weakly around Eric's waist. "You really know how to show a guy a good time." He chuckles, his eyes half closed.

"Mmm," Eric murmurs and picks Jay up and puts him down on the bed, seemingly without effort.

Stroking hair away from Jay's forehead as he towers over him.

Listening to his pulse.

Jay's heart beats strong enough, if somewhat faster than usual, his pulse soft. He turns his face into the touch, smiling hazily.

"Will you be alright on your own?" Eric asks. "Dawn is approaching."

Jay tries for something along the lines of 'I'd rather you stay. I want to hold you but if you have to go, that's fine too.' But want comes out is a slurred. "Is fine."

"I would rather be here when I can enjoy your company," Eric says and then he is holding a glass of water to Jay's lips.

Going to fetch it and returning so quickly, he might not have been gone at all.

"Drink plenty and eat red meat tomorrow," he says. "I wouldn't want you hurt by this."

As it might lead to less blood letting in the future. It sounds like caring though.

"Sweet to care." Jay slurs, after a long drink, reaching up to brush his hand over Eric's cheek. "Go. Stay safe."

Humans and their capacity for self delusion. It never ceases to amaze him.

He turns his head and brush a kiss across Jay's fingertips.

"I will see you soon," he says. And then he is gone. Leaving the room at vampire speed, leaving Jay behind.

Jay sighs and pulls the blankets tighter around himself. Tonight was reckless and stupid but the pleasant ache tells him it was worth it. He might never see Eric again, after all, he got what he wanted. But then, so did Jay.

Tomorrow there would be water and steak but for now there was a warm bed and the enjoyable feeling of a good hard fuck.

[ooc: No, it was perfectly in character and brilliant. And Jay's not as naive as he seemed while drunk. It might take him a bit to come to terms with being played but as long as they both get what they want, he can live with it.
