Jay leads Eric outside into the dark of the garden. He still smells of clean sweat and healthy human male. He shreds his jacket and nods towards a bench. "From the wrist okay with you? I know you prefer the throat but I can understand if that's too intimate for you."

"The wrist is fine," Eric says, quickly.
Eagerly.

His fangs are aching.

Jay sits and offers Eric his wrist. "When I say stop, you will." It's not a question, it's the rules of this interaction.

Eric sits down quickly.
Nodding.

"Yes," he says. "I'll stop."

[runningred]

"Good." Jay nods, holding his wrist out at a comfortable angle for them both.

Eric fangs come down with a speed that rather suggest that he doesn't have them quite under control yet.

"It's okay." Jay coaxes softly, holding his wrist steady.

And Eric bites down, fast and harshly.
But he really does try to keep his grip on Jay's wrist light.

Jay can take it. Hell, as long as Eric healed it, he could probably put up with a couple of broken bones. But only if necessary. He does appreciate Eric's control. He closes his eyes, just letting it happen.

He is making small hungry noises as he drinks. Eyes closed. Lips sticky and dark.

Jay can't help but reach a with his free hand and gently smooth Eric's hair back. Just so he doesn't get blood in it.

Eric gasps against his skin and intensifies the pull of his mouth.

Jay keeps stroking him softly, seeing Eric seems to like it. He breathes slowly, monitoring his own breathing and heart rate. "Little bit more will be okay." He lets Eric know.

And Eric drinks, eyes closed.

He's been so hungry.

Jay lets it go for as long as he can, letting Eric take as much as he can afford to lose without needing a top up. "Okay. Need you to stop now. Eric. Please stop."

Eric slowly opens his eyes and looks upmat Jay without moving his mouth away from the wounds.

His eyes are blank with hugely dilated pupils.

So hungry.

"Eric. You need to stop. Now." Jay keeps his voice level and soft. For now.

[onceaviking]

There's a pause where absolutely nothing happens - and then Eric squeezes his eyes shut and turns his head away, shuddering.

His mouth is filled with thick, hot blood.
He can't think.

Jay takes his hand back, if Eric will let him and hurriedly wraps his wrist in a bandanna.

"Okay. We're okay. Just... take your time."

Eric curls up on himself, just a little, as he swallows.

Then he licks his lips.

"How are you feeling?" Jay asks, pulling his jacket back on, covering his wrist.

[onceaviking]

"Better. Thank you."
It's almost whispered.

[runningred]

"Sorry I can't offer you more just yet." He nods. "Would you like me to go?"

[onceaviking]

His head whips up.

"No. I - no. Please don't."

He retracts his fangs.

[runningred]

"Come here." He offers Eric a hug. He looks like he needs it.

[onceaviking]

He does.
Huge and bloodstained Eric snuggles into the hug as if that will somehow make everything better.
