Jay opens the door into a quiet back alley that could belong to any city - the lingering scent of garbage and the miss-matched colours where graffiti has been washed off or painted over. In the mid-afternoon chill of early spring, he takes Emcee's hand and leads him out into the street, pocketing the key. The sunlight is thin but warm and picks out the green swell of buds in the branches. The tree lined avenue is quiet this time of day. Not lacking in people but without rush, a lazy Saturday afternoon.

Emcee stretches like a cat, his toes curling, and then flops bonelessly onto Jay again, just letting the water and bubbles wash over him.

It's a while before he says anything.

"I think this hot tub is a success. I'm glad we tested it out," he mumbles against Jay's skin.

Jay chuckles and strokes Emcee's back. "Always good to road test these things. Just to make sure they meet your standards."

[i_am_your_host]

"Mmmm."

He sighs again.

And then he becomes lost in the sensations and almost drifts off for a moment or two.

"You've become my standard for human pillows, that's for certain," he chuckles.

"And flotation device." Jay grins and kisses Emcee's hair. "Want to move to the bed? We've got a few hours before we need to be anywhere."

He giggles in agreement, turning his head a little to kiss the pit of his throat.

"That's a splendid idea. Let's."

He's in no hurry to move, though. But when he does lift his head, he looks up at Jay, his eyes flicking from his eyes to his lips and back again.

Everything about Jay is relaxed, content and undemanding. He meets Emcee's examination with a soft smile, fingers toying with the damp hairs at the base of Emcee's skull. "Standing up might be an interesting test of my knees."

He smirks, just a faint twitch at the corner of his lips, as he tilts his head against Jay's fingers.

"Likewise," he says, massaging one of Jay's thighs.

Then with yet another sigh of reluctance, he starts to slowly move off of him...but only kind of floats off to the side, sinking into the water up to his ears, because the water is amazing.

Jay chuckles and washes himself off as Emcee floats. "I foresee you ending up as wrinkled as a prune in this tub." he hauls himself out, knees only shaking a little and grabs some big thick towels.

He snorts a laugh as he stays where he is just long enough to watch Jay climb out of the tub. Because he's a sight worth watching.

"I'm afraid I already am," he chuckles, examining his fingertips.

Sitting upright, he peers at the control panel and presses some buttons to shut off the jets and the water. He then raises himself out of the tub and takes a towel for himself, wrapping it around himself like a cloak as is his habit.

And Jay doesn't mind showing off what it is he has, all hard muscle and scars.

He smiles back at Emcee, cocking his hip in a whore's present. "Enjoying the view?"

Emcee's bright laugh echoes throughout the spacious bathroom.

"Always, darling," he says, coyly clutching his towel at his throat as his gaze sweeps up and down Jay's body.

Two can play at this game. So Emcee turns around and lets the towel slip down over his pale, slender shoulders, halting the slide at mid-back, before turning his head and batting his eyelashes at him through a fringe of damp, jet-black hair.

Jay grins, very openly enjoying the view. His eyes following the slide of the towel. "You, darling, are dangerously beautiful." He steps closer, kissing the slope of Emcee's shoulder.

He hums a soft chuckle at the kiss.

"I should stop before I injure someone."

Turning to face him, he tips his chin up to reach Jay's lips to kiss him.

Any smart-ass response is lost in the kiss as Jay cups Emcee's cheek. "Beautiful man." He purrs, pulling Emcee close. "Come lay down with me."

He blushes and smiles faintly at Jay's words. Leaning against him, he nods and murmurs, "Lead the way."

Jay nuzzles Emcee's neck and takes his hand. The bed is just as soft and comfortable as it looks. Jay sprawls out, pulling Emcee to join him. Boyfriend pillow mode activated.

Emcee crawls onto the bed and flops down beside him. It is indeed a glorious bed, but really, a bed is only as good as whoever's in it with you.

After a moment, he rolls over and folds his arms over Jay's chest, resting his cheek on them.

"This place really is wonderful," he murmurs.

[runningred]

"I'm glad you like it." Jay smiles, absently massaging Emcee's shoulder. "I just hope it's everything you need."

[i_am_your_host]

"Mmm," he hums, noncommittally.

He closes his eyes as Jay massages his shoulder.

"Just need a bigger bed," he adds, stifling a giggle.

[runningred]

"A bigger bed can be arranged." Jay shrugs. "Or just make the sort of friends who don't mind keeping close."

[i_am_your_host]

"Mm. I've never had a problem with that. I can't count all the times I've woken up tangled in someone else's arms and legs. Sometimes from different people."

[runningred]

"Nothing wrong with that. Keeps the bed warm on a cold night." He nuzzles Emcee's hair, planting small kisses on his temple.

[i_am_your_host]

"That is true."

He exhales a sigh, his fingertips curling against Jay's chest in little strokes.

He then blinks open his eyes. "Is there an alarm clock here? You're so comfortable that I just might doze off again and I don't want to oversleep."

Jay finds his phone in the tangle of clothes on the floor and sets an alarm. "Done." He kisses Emcee again and pulls a comforter up around them. "Sleep, beautiful. I might do the same."

Emcee is still kind of amazed at what one can do with those little pocket phones.

Once Jay is settled back down again and they're both under the covers, Emcee reclaims his spot on his chest and closes his eyes, an arm encircling his middle.

"It's going to be a long night, darling," he murmurs in anticipation of the party. He has a feeling that it will be a good one.
