Jay opens the door the key matches. It's not a dungeon (to Jay's relief) but it has a big sturdy bed with obvious mounting points, low rafters (with more mounting points} and a chest full of interesting toys. And straps and chains and stuff.

And an easy clean floor. And a nice bathroom.

Jay manages a broken laugh at the display of power as he falls onto the bed. "Well, if you're trying to make me hard again..."

"You'd need more blood for that, I should think," Eric replies as he stretches out on the bed, blood-spattered and pale.

Jay manages with some effort to flop onto his back. Out of Eric's way. "Unless you plan to rip into me again, I think I'm good."

[onceaviking]

Eric rumbles in reply.

"You smell nice," he says.
For certain values of nice.

[runningred]

"Like blood and sex and sweat?" Jay laughs, happily sprawled out. "I'd ask how you could still be hungry but that's a dumb question with you. I'm still alive."

"You are," Eric agrees.
"I've come close to feeling sated a couple of times lately, but it's never quite there."

On account of him knowing people who (also) make bad decisions.

"Not here, presumably?" Jay asks with interest.

[onceaviking]

"Oh yes."
Breezily.

[runningred]

Jay raises an inquisitive eyebrow, still blood and breathless and sprawled.

[onceaviking]

"Nobody died," Eric says, perhaps a touch defensively.

[runningred]

Jay looks up at him and shrugs. "Never thought they had. You're smarter than getting caught here. I'm just impressed you managed to find anyone here who could take enough to almost satisfy you."

"It's just a question about knowing the right people," Eric replies.

[runningred]

"Now you've really got me curious. Clearly I need to make some new friends here."

[onceaviking]

He could try to be discreet. Or. Coy.
But they talk and Emcee is a girl who can't keep his trap shut anyway.

There's an obvious 'or his legs' joke there.

"You know him."

[runningred]

"Our mutually German friend?" Jay chuckles "Have you been drinking Emcee dry again? You know he loves it when you do that. He's more masochistic than I am."

"He does. Though I'm not sure you're right about the masochism."

[runningred]

Jay raises an eyebrow again. "You don't think he's a masochist?"

[onceaviking]

"Not in the modern understanding. He's prey. Clever, eager prey, but prey."

Of course, to Eric, that holds true of practically everyone.

[runningred]

Not clever, that's a rare complement. "Makes me wonder what sort of prey you think of me as."

He means it rhetorically and he doesn't linger for an answer. Instead he pulls himself up and starts trying to work out how to get the cuffs off.

"Do you need a hand with that?" Eric asks, not answering the question.

He might have to use words like clever again, and he's already exceeded his quota.

Jay manages to slip the wrist cuffs but the upper arm ones are trickier. "Please? I think the release mechanism are on the inner edge."

Eric takes hold of them and twists the, a little.
Experimentally.

His fingers are growing cold again.

There's a thumbnail sized catch just on the inside of the cuff and they pop open with ease.

Jay starts on the waistband, the red silk stained with blood in a few spots.

"Are you going to keep it?"

Eric sounds amused.

[runningred]

"Never throw away anything that might be useful." Jay shrugs, running his fingernail over the surface of the belt. "Given the weight of these things, the gold plating is fairly thick. The drones might be able to turn them into something interesting."
