Jay gallops up the stairs, making horse noises as he carries Emcee into his room. "My liege."

Emcee sighs again, deeply, breathing in the musky scent of Jay's skin. He likes feeling strong arms around him, a warm, solid body underneath him. It makes him feel safe.

He is so reluctant to move right now. And honestly, he can't think of a valid reason to move anyway.

Except to lift his chin and kiss Jay under his jaw.

Jay's about as interested in moving as Emcee is. Unless it's to kiss the whorls of Emcee's ear.

The touch of his lips tickles, and he giggles breathily against the side of his neck.

He hums yet another deep sigh as he winds his arms around his middle and squeezes.

He is not cuddling. Or being sappy. Or...anything.

"You are so comfortable, darling," he points out, his face still nestled in the crook of his neck and shoulder.

Jay, on the other hand, is quite alright with sappy. And being cuddled.

He chuckles into Emcee's hair. "And you're very huggable."

"I am not," he mutters, a smirk in his voice and on his lips. He shifts his legs just to get into a more comfortable position on Jay's lap, without dislodging himself from his arms. And he settles in against his body again, being absolutely not huggable.

"No, you're right. You're all corners and elbows." Jay teases, stroking his back. "Not huggable at all."

[i_am_your_host]

Emcee snorts a laugh. "If that was some sort of jab at my being underfed and having the metabolism of a shrew, then-" (he blows a raspberry) "-you, darling."

He's still not moving.

"Would I make fun of your long limbs and graceful nature? And I'm pretty sure you've," raspberry, "me good and proper already."

[i_am_your_host]

He laughs again, sounding utterly relaxed and content.

"I would do it again right now if I could, but I need a nap," he chuckles.

"I'm hoping that you won't mind if I don't move from this position for a little while."

He likes it like this.

Jay cocks his head and flexes his feet. "I think I could make it to the bed carrying you, if you want. Otherwise we can nap right here."

[i_am_your_host]

"Mm, too much movement," he mumbles against his skin. "Right here will be fine. Sprawl if you want to. I'll just curl up on top of you."

Jay swings his legs up and leans back, cradling Emcee against his chest. There's a blanket over the back of the couch so he pulls it over them.

[i_am_your_host]

Emcee resettles, with his head tucked under Jay's chin and his cheek pressed to his chest.

"Are you comfortable?" he murmurs drowsily.

[runningred]

"Perfectly, darling." He kisses the top of Emcee's head. "Couldn't be happier."

[i_am_your_host]

"Good."

He starts to drift off.

"Wake me if I drool on you..."

And he's gone.

Jay rubs his back, easing him into a comfortable sleep before drifting off himself.
