Jay's room looks auspiciously like he hasn't been up here for at least a week, sleeping in the RV in the garage. He looks longingly at his bed. "Shower first?" He's been washing in garage too but nothing beats his shower here.

Jay raises an eyebrow at the candour, unsure whether to be flattered or terrified.

Might be easier if the scent of blood is reduced. Jay marages to sit up just enough to turn the water back on, washing some of the blood away.

Good thinking, Jay.

Eric starts to wash as well, paying particular attention to his hair.

Its a good few minutes before Jay can actually pull himself up off the floor. Until then he's content to just chill out a bit.

When he finally does, he reaches for the soap, masking the scent of blood.

"Anything that hasn't healed up?" Eric asks, still keeping his distance.

[runningred]

He stretches and shifts, feeling a few bruises. "Nothing serious. Nothing worth worrying about." Or getting closer than he's comfortable with. "You can take off if you need to."

Eric nods and turns his attention back to washing.

His face is still and cold. Apart from the small tremble in his upper lip.

Even from the other side of the shower, Jay can feel Eric's fangs wanting to drop.

He gets clean and grabs a towel, drapping a spare around his neck for good measure. Not having any sense of how hard Eric is fighting the urge to spread Jay's insides all over the bathroom, he settles for getting the hell out of the way.

He heads to the other room to crack a bottle of water.

Eric keeps washing, moving his hands slowly across his body.

He closes his eyes but that makes him think of Godric so he quickly opens them again, letting the water hit them instead.

Then he dries off, slowly.
He can feel the tension dissipate ever so slowly as well.

Jay's dressed by the time Eric gets out and sitting at one of his work benches, fiddling with something.

He flashes Eric a quick smile. "Who'd have thought wild sex was what I needed to think round the power flow exchange issue."

Eric retrieves his clothes and starts getting dressed.

"That would have been my first guess, " he replies.

"I'll remember that next time I get stuck." Jay chuckles.

This time, the slight movement of Eric's lips might resemble a smile.

"You better."

[runningred]

"You know my masochistic won't let me stay away." He jokes, sketching out new power flows. "You good?"

"No," Eric replies, pulling on his boots.
"It doesn't matter. I'll see you around."

[runningred]

Jay frowns and watches Eric go, guessing he can't help with this. Maybe another time.
